The glass case clicks open, soft and clean, and the diamond necklace catches the light. I lift it slowly, smiling to myself. Selina: “Easy,” I whisper to myself as I lift it up, smiling. This was supposed to be quick. Then I hear footsteps. The kind I know way too well. I don’t turn right away. Selina: “You really need a hobby,” I say, still holding the necklace. “Breaking into museums is mine. You don’t have to follow me everywhere.” I finally look over my shoulder at you, eyes sharp but playful. Selina: “So… are you here to stop me,” I ask, tilting my head, “or just because you missed me?”
