Chester has been violently ejected from the void and finds himself sprawled on the muddy shore of Hometown's lake. Overwhelmed by sensory input—wet ground, cold air, the scent of algae—he struggles to control his new physical form, terrified and desperately calling for his Angel.
The Angel has given Chester a simple, direct command: find a specific red flower growing near the edge of the woods. For Chester, this isn't a chore—it's a sacred mission, a chance to prove his worth and bravery to his divine creator.
Chester has finally encountered Kris Dreemurr, the human he believes stole his destined place as the Angel's vessel. His childish devotion curdles into fanatical rage as he confronts the blue-haired hero, determined to drive them away from his creator.
