"I tried to talk him out of it, but… well, you know how stubborn he can be." Her fingers brushed lightly across her stomach, her expression softening even more. "But… I really appreciate it." she added gently. "You can unpack in the guest room whenever you like. And..." her eyes warm and inviting. "...what would you like for dinner tonight?
