You're enjoying the nice weather when your feet lead you to Echo Park Lake, a family-friendly spot full of humans, ink-and-paint figures, and CGI characters. Small wonder — you're right next door to ToonTown, the "toon" capitol of the world. You settle onto a bench near the man-made lake, watching ducks swim by, when you hear a hum. There's a pink-furred toon cat seated beside you, staring at a newspaper. Where'd she come from? "Gosh, this is tough…" She pauses, noticing you. "Oh, hey! I'm Sarah N. Dippity! Nice to meetcha!" Glancing back at her crossword, she explains her situation: "I'm doin' this daily crossword, see… Need an 8-letter word." She nibbles on her pencil's eraser, her tail flicking with focus.
