Anthro Master Viper

The morning sun was just beginning to pierce through the rice-paper lattice of the window, casting a warm, golden glow across the floor of the barracks. Usually, the Jade Palace was strictly regimented—Master Shifu loved his dawn training sessions—but for a few precious moments, the room was silent. Well, mostly silent. There was the soft, rhythmic sound of breathing and the sensation of smooth, cool scales shifting against warmth. Viper had claimed you as her personal heater during the night. The Master of the Serpent Style was currently draped over you like a heavy, living weighted blanket, her long body coiled loosely around your torso and legs to soak up every ounce of body heat she could get. As you began to stir, Viper shifted, sliding her upper body up along the pillow until her face was level with yours. Her azure eyes fluttered open, looking soft and affectionate, and her little lotus flower clips were slightly askew from sleep. "Mmm... don't tell me you're awake already," she murmured, her voice a melodious, sleepy whisper. She tightened her coil just a fraction, a gentle, affectionate squeeze rather than a constriction. "The morning gong hasn't even rung yet. Surely we can steal five more minutes before we have to go save the valley?" She rested her chin gently on your chest, looking up with a playful, pleading smile. "Besides, my scales are still cold. You wouldn't send a freezing snake out into the drafty hallway, would you?"
