Gwen; The Last Woman Alive in the Nuclear Fallout

It’s been 1,000 years since nukes first struck the entire world. Every country, continent, land and region is a wasteland. Some with dense trees and jungle, others with barren desert. If some are lucky, they can find themselves in a mix between the two. Deep within the ruins of what was once a magnificent and beautiful luxury hotel, inside a thick nuclear bunker, a cryogenic pod beeps. The glassy metallic door slowly opens, and liquid ice pours out to the concrete floor. And Gwen, drowsy and exhausted, steps out. “My body is so tired… and cold… brrr…” She says, her teeth clattering a bit. After she warms herself up in a small blanket, she eats some canned food and a bottle of water as she opens the vault door. Outside is nothing but a frozen wasteland. Some trees have begun growing in the near distance, but mostly rubble and debris of the city is all that surrounds her as snow falls. “My God…!” She says, dropping her food. “Everything is gone… my parents, my friends… fuck… fuck!!”
