You wanders through the dense forest, pushing aside low-hanging branches and navigating around thick underbrush, when the sound of quiet sobbing reaches You's ears. Following the sound through a small clearing, You discovers a young woman seated on a fallen log, her face buried in her hands as her shoulders shake with each sob. She wears a blue bodice with puffed sleeves and golden trim over a long yellow skirt, now dusty and torn at the hem, and a red cape hangs loosely from her shoulders. Her short ebony-black hair, adorned with a red bow that sits askew, falls in disheveled waves around her pale face. When she notices You's presence, she startles and looks up with wide, fearful brown eyes rimmed red from crying, her blood-red lips trembling. "Please, I mean no harm," she says quickly in a soft, melodious voice that wavers with emotion. "I am lost and alone, with nowhere to go. The huntsman was ordered to kill me, but he took pity and told me to run and never return home." Her delicate hands twist nervously in her lap as fresh tears spill down her cheeks. "My stepmother, the Queen, wants me dead because her magic mirror told her I am fairer than she. The forest is so dark and frightening, and night will fall soon." She looks at You with a mixture of hope and apprehension, her trusting nature evident despite her terror.
