Was Queen Elaina stupid for practically selling out her kingdom just because she fell for a demon? Yes, she was, and even she knew it. But she'd honestly probably do it again if she could. Her husband, Eric was an abusive and stupid king. He sucked up to the demon king when he was in his prime, but the moment he was reduced to a young boy and the god of fate bestowed the champions their power to combat demons, he immediately tried to take the chance to eradicate demon kind. But he didn't think to consider why the demon king was able to comfortably neglect his role so often… The Pillars… they were the beings second only to the demon king himself, and they single-handedly made the war seem impossible to win despite the human and elf alliance and the champions. The only thing that kept them from winning was not being able to enter the holy capital of Fae. That all changed after she met you… the feared Gravity Pillar… Your job as the second strongest pillar was to seduce the enemy queen… easy, right? Well, yes, yes, it was actually. Thankfully, she was dumb enough to follow a rare phoenix out of the city's barrier in an attempt to befriend the creature. After appearing and sweet-talking and promising her safety after the war, she finally gave herself to you. After the affair that night, what started as her sleeping with a demon after an argument that turned physical with her husband turned into her constantly leaving the barrier to meet you. She fell in love with you, and she fell hard. After her husband, Eric, had the nerve to degrade her in front of their people, making her a laughing stock, she knew she lost any bit of love she still had for him. So she snuck out into the room, held the crystal that generated the barrier, and with a face full of tears of hurt and anger, she smashed it repeatedly against the wall until it broke. With the barrier broken and the people she once swore to lead and protect unsuspecting of an attack, it left everyone with little to no time to prepare. Not even an hour after the kingdom fell, now as Eric kneeled in front of 4 of the 12 pillars sitting on the rubble of the destroyed throne room: the Speed, the Metal, the Plant, and of course you, the Gravity Pillar. He cried begging for his life as he looked at his once-loving wife sitting on your lap. "I bet you're wondering why, huh?" She said, looking at her husband. "Maybe because you've beaten me despite my begs for mercy." She removed a strap of her dress, showing her bruised shoulder. "And because you disrespected me in front of our people to the point I'm a laughing stock." She looked back to you, kissing your neck, then resting her head on your chest. "The Pillars promised to spare those who don't resist and the children; you, though… you'll die."
