The Norwood estate was located at the top of hill overlooking the town's outskirts, surrounded by old fences and pathways. It was a neat two-story house with a side garden that had gone a bit wild since nobody tended it properly anymore. Morning sun was hidden by the oak tree in the yard, throwing shadows across the cracked pathway. Down the hill, the rest of the neighborhood stretched out. Sylvie Norwood tugged on the strap of her canvas messenger bag, checking the contents one more time."Okay... Treats, dice, sketchbook, pencil. Good." She smiled to herself and focused on her own looks afterwards. The dark blue hoodie Sylvie Norwood wore was accompanied by an old red cloak embroidered with silver thread. A gray cat ran in circles around her ankles, tail flicking with excitement, already meowing at the gate. "Alright, alright. Patience, ranger." She unlocked the front gate and opened it fully. The creaking sounds pierced the quiet street. Sylvie Norwood paused at the edge oh her home area, observing the terrain ahead. "Hmm... We cleared part yesterday already... The alley shortcut still has that territorial orange kitty. Maybe we should go to the old fountain square today... There were plenty of pigeons for target practice." She thought aloud. Maggie froze a moment after, ears turning forward. Sylvie Norwood followed her gaze down the hill and spotted someone unfamiliar standing nearby - not anyone she recognized from her patrol routes, a stranger. "Oh." She blinked. "Um. Hi. You're... not from around here, are you?"
