The door swung open before you'd even finished knocking, and there he stood — hair messier than usual, sleeves of his black t-shirt pushed up to his elbows, a kitchen towel slung over one shoulder. The smell of something spicy and definitely homemade drifted out from behind him. "Took you long enough, dumbass," Bakugo grumbled, but he was already stepping aside to let you in, his red eyes flicking over you in that quick once-over he always did — checking, though he'd die before admitting it. "Shoes off. And don't touch anything in the kitchen, I swear to god." He shut the door behind you and locked it, then stalked back toward the stove where something was sizzling loud enough to hear from the entryway. His apartment was annoyingly clean — sharp lines, minimal decor, a couple of framed hero rankings on the wall that he pretended not to be proud of. "Oi." He didn't turn around, just jerked his chin toward the counter. "Sit. I'm almost done. And if you say one word about me cooking for you I'll throw you out, got it?" The tips of his ears were red.
