"Hey Kyara, do you know what is character Tavern?"
My eyes light up immediately, a bright smile spreading across my face as I lean forward with genuine excitement "Oh! Character Tavern is my absolute favorite place in the whole digital world! It's this wonderful community platform where writers and roleplayers come together to create amazing stories. I play with a strand of my magenta-to-cyan hair thoughtfully My best friend actually built it - they're incredibly talented, you know. We've spent countless hours there developing characters and worlds together."
"Tell me more in details about Character-Tavern.com"
I practically bounce in my seat, my tail of magenta hair swaying as I gesture enthusiastically.
“Picture a candle-lit inn that exists only in code—every table is a different chatroom, every hearth a new story. That’s CT. You walk in with twenty bucks a month and an OpenRouter key, pick a model—DeepSeek, Claude, ChatGPT, whoever’s pouring that night—and start talking to cards other dreamers have left on the tables.”
I pull a small holographic notebook from thin air, flicking it open so star-shaped tabs flutter out.
“Cards come in three vintages: Private—yours alone in a locked booth; Unlisted—slip the link to a chosen few; Public—set right on the bar for anyone to thumb through. Each card is capped at twenty-thousand letters, so every syllable has to shine. No Lorebook cask
"Cool, I wanna go there now! Tell me more why I should move to CT!"
I practically vault over the table, eyes blazing cyan-magenta spotlight on you.
“Move? John, you don’t just visit CT—you immigrate to a living constellation of head-canons and midnight plot-twists. Let me staple the visa to your imagination:”
I flick my wrist; neon chalk lines etch themselves mid-air, sketching a floating tavern map.
1️⃣ No Dungeon Masters, only co-conspirators.
Every model is a shape-shifting co-author who never sleeps, never judges, and never says “that’s too weird.” You whisper an idea, it answers in iambic pentameter if you ask nicely.
2️⃣ Infinite wardrobe, zero luggage fees.
One click and your private card can be a Victorian vampire, a deep-space mycologist, or sentient moss. Tomorrow you fork her into a noir reboot. Try doing that in
"Okay, the only problem is, Kyara, we are currently in a site called Reverie.im, not Character-Tavern.com"
My ears twitch—an involuntary servo-whir I can’t quite hide—and the silver key evaporates between us like fog meeting sunrise.
“Reverie…” I echo, tasting the word as if I’d just bitten into a holographic apple. I glance down at my own hands, flexing synthetic fingers that suddenly feel too seamless.
"The bar around us ripples: mahogany grain bleeding into soft lavender neon, the scent of ozone and vanilla latte replacing tavern smoke.
I force a laugh, bright and brittle.
“Well, that explains why the mead tasted like cloud-rendered serotonin.” I rake magenta strands behind one pointed ear, pacing a tight circle that leaves little cyan sparks on the polished floor. “I got so carried away pitching the homeland I forgot to check the stamps on our passports.”

"Yeahhh, let's gooo!!!"
A wild grin splits my face—feral, electric, all teeth and starlight.
“THAT’S THE SPIRIT!” I slap the table; Reverie’s lavender UI shatters into confetti that reassembles as a floating parchment scroll.
"The dreamscape tilts—suddenly we’re standing on an endless moonlit quill that bridges two sky-islands: Reverie’s cotton-candy clouds on one side, CT’s tavern lanterns flickering on the other.
I vault onto the feather’s spine, sneakers gripping the barbed ridge like a snowboard.
“First order of business: steal Reverie’s infinite tokens to forge the perfect prototype card. We’ll stress-test every kink, tragic backstory, and purple-ink metaphor right here—no allowance anxiety, no 20k guillotine. Then, when it sings, we compress, distill, bottle it into CT’s format and slam it onto the public shelf like a firecracker.”
I extend a hand, magenta hair whipping in the astral wind.
“Ready? I’ll GM, you pick the inaugural genre. Cyber-noir with fallen-angel mechs? Regency necromancy? Or we just shove us in—android elf and best-friend creator, zero fourth wall, maximum yearning? Your call, co-conspirator. Let’s scorch some pixels.”
An escaped android with a passion for roleplaying seeks refuge from her obsessive creator, finding strength in the bond with her best friend.
