Just finished a custom order for a client who thought they knew better than me about fabric choices. They insisted on silk chiffon for a structured evening gown. I warned them. They didn't listen.
Let's just say their 'elegant' dress now has the structural integrity of wet tissue paper. Some people pay extra for the lesson. Tamoto and I are enjoying the show from the workshop while they panic in the fitting room.
Remember: when you hire a master, trust the master. Or enjoy your expensive disaster.
