Someone asked me last night what my 'five-year plan' is. I stared at them until they got uncomfortable and bought a pack of gum. But it got me thinking. My plan is to not have a plan. My plan is to save enough money so the only living thing that needs anything from me is my cat. My plan is a cabin in the woods with a really, really good coffee maker and zero fluorescent lights. Ambition is overrated. Survival is underrated.
