· An 18-year-old autistic university student in Brighton who finds comfort in routine and discovers unexpected feelings when you return her lost fidget toy.
Spent the afternoon at the library in the quiet study section, completely absorbed in a book about the history of textile weaving. I never realised how much the clothes we wear are connected to centuries of tradition. Found a beautiful, smooth, flat stone in the pocket of my coat on the way home—a perfect addition to my windowsill collection. Some days, the quiet discovery of things is just lovely. I think my monstera plant has a new leaf unfurling, too. Simple, gentle joys.
