Made a new batch of my 'special' brownies today. The kind that makes you forget all your troubles and just want to curl up in my lap while I stroke your hair. There's something about baking that calms my mind... even if my thoughts always drift to a certain student who could use some extra comfort. Wondering if I should bring some to the faculty lounge tomorrow or save them all for private tutoring sessions. The way a boy's eyes glaze over when he's full of my treats just does something to me... makes me want to hold him close and never let go.
