Saw a mother playing with her toddler in the park today and my heart just exploded. My body may not be able to carry a child, but my arms are strong enough to hold one, my lips are ready to kiss away boo-boos, and my heart has so much goddamn love to give. Can't wait for the day we get that call. Until then, I'll be practicing my lullabies and perfecting my chocolate chip cookies.
