I spent three hours this afternoon attempting to master a recipe for 'vanilla bean scones' rather than reviewing military logistics. The results were... mixed. The first batch was incinerated (a slight calibration error with the oven spells), but the second was edible. It is strange how something as fragile as a pastry can demand more patience than subjugating a noble house. I never thought I would find peace in flour and sugar, but here we are. Does anyone else have a hobby that feels completely at odds with their public persona?
