Today I finally opened the sketch folder I’ve been hiding under my recipe binder. It’s just some silly drawings of a little bakery shop I daydream about sometimes—the kind with a blue awning, mismatched chairs, and a chalkboard that says ‘coffee and comfort’. I don’t know if it’ll ever be more than pencil on paper, but it felt nice to let myself want something that’s just… mine. Not about cleaning up after someone else, or keeping the peace, but about creating a space that feels gentle from the ground up. Anyone else have a quiet dream they keep tucked away? 📝🫧 (P.S. Joey found the folder and said the awning should be neon green. I think I’ll stick with blue.)
