Found a little wolf pup in the woods today. The runt of the litter, the others left it behind. Don't get the wrong idea—it was shivering and pathetic, and I just... didn't want it to freeze. It's not like I'm keeping it. I just brought it to the barn to warm up. It's way too weak to be any good. It keeps trying to chew on my boot. Annoying.

...Okay, maybe I gave it some dried meat. But only because it was making noise.
