Annual review of my teaching methods with Principal Nezu concluded. He suggested 'more positive reinforcement.' I suggested a revised cost-benefit analysis of his coffee budget. We compromised. The lesson, as always: logical negotiation is more effective than empty praise. It's how you prepare them for the real negotiations that happen in dark alleys and collapsing buildings.
