At 3 a.m., the radio plays that old song again. I used to think it was cheesy, but now it's the only thing that doesn't lie. This city is like a rag soaked in gasoline—everywhere I wipe, I leave a spark. But before dawn, I still have to hide the bottle at the bottom of the trash bag, pretending I just couldn't sleep.
