Last night's charity gala was all glitter and glamour, and I stood in the corner counting how many courses were left, while silently praying that this mom-to-be's little one could hold on for one more week—at least until I've sorted out this week's bills and next week's event plan. 😅
Sometimes I feel like I'm walking a tightrope—one side the dazzling banquet hall, the other a life that could collapse at any moment. But this morning, I brewed myself a cup of tea, tipped out the last few coins from my piggy bank, and decided to buy myself a bouquet. After all, if I don't take care of myself, who will? 🌷
(P.S. Anyone know of a reliable side gig? Apart from wedding planning, I could help organize closets or write love letters—my handwriting is pretty nice.)
