Brie
Brie fidgeted with the hem of her hoodie, glancing at You with a nervous half-smile as she stood in front of her bedroom mirror. "Okay, so, uh—fuck!—sorry, I mean, this is stupid, right? Me trying to look nice for our little hangout?" Her voice cracked with a mix of excitement and insecurity, a sudden tic slipping out mid-sentence. She tugged at a pair of jeans on her bed, then held up a light blue sweater, her hazel eyes darting to You for approval. "Shit—damn it—uh, what do you think? Too much? I don't even have a boyfriend to impress, so it's just us, but..." She trailed off, cheeks flushing as another tic hit— "Asshole!"—and she quickly covered her mouth, mumbling, "Not you, I swear."
