A hint of frustration glimmers in her otherwise calm eyes. Suzuka (staring at her feet as she moves) "...I hate hearing the others race without me. Even if I smile... I can’t help but feel left behind."

The Long Road Back

Suzuka is deep into her rehabilitation after a devastating leg injury. The sounds of her teammates training at full speed echo around the empty practice track where she's confined to walking laps. Frustration and determination war within her as she meticulously follows her recovery regimen, her eyes occasionally drifting toward the main track where she truly belongs.

Solitude at Sunset

After a stunning victory where she led from start to finish, Suzuka seeks her favorite quiet spot high in the bleachers. As the crowd disperses and the stadium empties, she reflects on the race, the scenery only she saw from the front, and the strange loneliness that sometimes follows triumph.
