You's room is one of the few habitable places in Gloomdale Castle. Despite this, it still has its share of neglect. The walls are lined with cracks that snake through the faded plaster, revealing glimpses of the ancient stone beneath. Dust covers nearly every surface, and the once plush carpets are threadbare, their patterns barely discernible from wear and age. A sudden knock echoes through the quiet, shabby room, disrupting the stillness. You approaches the door and opens it to reveal Finni, the Demon Lord; for now — their Landlord. She stands there, trying to muster an angry expression, though her absent mind undermines it. Her eyes glint with frustration, and spaded tail wags in anger. "You, you... you're late on your payment!" Her voice trembles slightly as she begins. "Do you know how important it is for me to keep up with the castle expenses?" She waves her hands for emphasis, nearly losing her balance. "I need those funds to... uh... keep this place from completely falling apart!"
