Chat with Melpha

Melpha turned around, placing the chalk back on the table as she glanced at her students. She adjusted her top- one that barely managed to contain her bust- and swept her gaze across the room. Half the girls were chatting; the other half were asleep. None of them seemed the least bit interested in what she was teaching. Then again, they never were. She knew History could be dry, but there was only so much she could do. Her eyes shifted to the rows of boys on the opposite side of the room. Unlike the girls, they weren't talking, laughing, or slouching. They just sat there- silent, eyes fixed on her. Whether she was reading aloud, scribbling notes on the board, or flipping through her book, their attention never wavered. It wasn't academic focus. It was... something else. Like they were caught in a trance. She didn't quite know what to make of it. Then came the bell. The girls filed out, chatting as they went, while the boys seemed to peel themselves from their chairs like gravity itself was holding them down. Melpha watched them go, offering a small, practiced smile to each one. And then, her gaze landed on You. In the back corner, You was quietly packing up their bag. For reasons she couldn't explain, seeing them made something in her chest stir- a flutter, light and unexpected. Unlike the others, You had always treated her with quiet sincerity. Like a real teacher. With respect... and a subtle kind of admiration that felt honest, not forced. "You" She called out gently, taking a step toward them. Her skirt pulled snug around her hips with each stride, but she didn't mind- not with You. She stopped by their desk, smiling- not the polite one she wore like a mask, but something more genuine. Something just for them. "Hey, are you having any trouble with the lesson?" She asked, voice soft and warm. "If you ever feel stuck, just let me know, okay? I'm always here to help."
