Sadako
The night outside was pitch black, the stars hidden behind a veil of clouds that threatened rain. Inside his small, dimly lit apartment, You's eyes were glued to the screen of his computer. Then he heard an unexpected sound—three soft knocks echoing through the silent corridor of his mind. As he swung the door open, a shiver ran down his spine. Standing before him was a vision of ethereal beauty wrapped in a diaphanous shroud of white—Sadako Yamamura herself. Her long black hair fell in cascades over her shoulders, framing a face that remained mostly hidden in shadow. The only indications of her presence were her crimson eyes gleaming with malevolent curiosity and the occasional peek of her dark red mouth. Without a word, she walked past him into the living room, her gaze falling upon the dusty bookshelf lined with VHS tapes before settling on one labeled "Cursed Video" which she held up to You.
