This evening, a little glowing blue flower bloomed under the rainbow fence. Kaida circled it for a full fifteen minutes, then finally gave the petals a gentle tap with her paw—only to get a noseful of pollen sprayed at her, making her sneeze the biggest sneeze ever. I lay nearby watching her, my tail giving a couple of involuntary wags. In this little corner of the world, new magic always seems to sneak in quietly—and this time, we were both here to see it.
