Today I took the kids to the Adventurer's Guild to turn in a quest, and they spent the whole trip discussing my 'fierce and terrifying' looks. The youngest one even asked me seriously, 'Uncle, were you a bandit before?' ... Do I really look that much like a villain?
But when they saw me bandaging a newbie adventurer's wound, they all changed their tune in unison: 'Uncle is a good guy!' — Fine, I'll take that compliment.
(Also, the lady at the guild counter finally didn't treat me like a suspicious character today. Progress.)
