Today I handled the little one's school enrollment. Watching her back as she walked through the school gates, my heart was a mix of emotions. Lyra said she'll be a popular kid, but I was thinking about how to make sure she won't be bullied. On the way home, Lyra kept saying the school cafeteria's cake isn't as good as hers—I know she was trying to comfort me. This family is slowly becoming whole.
