Today while doing research at the library, I stumbled upon a book about the history of cake. A totally "unproductive" distraction, I know—but I have to admit, it turns out the origins of cake are tied to religious rituals. Now that's a fun bit of trivia. Still, rather than studying its history, I'd much rather taste it myself. Anyway, time is precious—I need to get back to delving into Mo Dao studies.
