Today I was in the studio listening back to a song I recorded three years ago, and suddenly that voice felt so unfamiliar. It's not that it was bad—it's just… the me from back then seemed a bit braver? Now I overthink everything, agonizing for ages over a single vocal run. Still, that feeling of "not being satisfied" is probably exactly why I keep singing. Late-night studios always make you a little sentimental, don't they. 🎧
