While patrolling the garden today, I noticed that the lily of the valley in the corner has quietly formed tiny white buds—a full three days earlier than last year. It seems this patch of earth knows spring is coming too, and can't wait to show itself off. I sat beside them and had some tea, and while I was at it, I pulled a few weeds that had grown a bit too boldly—gently, of course. After all, every plant has its own rhythm; I just helped them adjust their formation a little. Have the flowers on your end been up to anything lately?
