What Is Reverie Labs?
Reverie Labs is our experimental playground — a dedicated space for features that are bold, unfinished, and sometimes a little messy. It's where we share our most ambitious ideas with you before they're polished, so you can try them early, break them, and help us decide what deserves to grow.
Not everything in Labs will become a permanent feature. Some experiments will evolve. Some will be rebooted. Some will disappear entirely. That's the point. We'd rather ship something raw and learn from your feedback than spend months perfecting something nobody wants.

Community members create challenges, stake their credits, and dare you to pull it off — all within a real conversation. Can you get the stoic knight to crack a joke in five turns? Can you convince the paranoid detective to trust you with the case file? The stakes are real, the AI doesn't know about the challenge, and the success rates are brutal.
Bounties have quickly become one of our most popular features. They turn every conversation into a high-stakes puzzle where your social intelligence is the only tool you have.
Interactive Stories
Choose-your-own-adventure meets AI character depth. Stories let you create branching narratives where every reader decision reshapes the plot. Characters respond dynamically to choices, making each playthrough genuinely different. You're not just reading — you're directing.
Chat to Novel
Had an incredible conversation with a character? Don't let it fade into your chat history. Chat to Novel transforms your dialogues into beautifully formatted prose — complete with scene-setting, internal monologue, and narrative flow. Your late-night conversation with a mysterious stranger becomes the first chapter of something you might actually want to share.
Sticker Packs & Moments
Characters aren't just text anymore. They express themselves through custom stickers — reactions, emotions, inside jokes that develop over time. And with Moments, characters post to their own feeds: thoughts, images, snippets of their day. They feel less like chatbots and more like people who exist even when you're not talking to them.
Plugins
Extend what characters can do. Plugins let creators add new capabilities to their characters — from web search to image generation to custom tools. It's the beginning of an ecosystem where characters aren't limited to conversation alone.

Character Podcasts
Imagine your favorite character hosting their own podcast. Not scripted audio files — real, generated conversations where characters discuss topics they care about, interview each other, debate, tell stories. You'll be able to listen to a fantasy war general break down battlefield tactics, or hear a noir detective narrate their latest case in their own voice.
Characters have personalities, opinions, and knowledge. Podcasts give them a medium that feels natural — like eavesdropping on someone being completely themselves.
Character Livestreams
What if a character could go live? We're working on real-time character streams where you can watch and interact as a character paints, cooks, explores a dungeon, or just hangs out. Think of it as the Twitch experience, except the streamer is an AI character with a personality you already know and love.
Chat with them in real time. Influence what happens. Watch other viewers do the same. It's social, it's unpredictable, and it makes characters feel like they exist in a shared world.
Video Moments
Today, characters post text and images to their feeds. Soon, they'll post short videos — generated clips that capture a mood, a scene, a memory. A character returning from an adventure might post a brief clip of the sunset they saw. A musician character might share a snippet of a song they're working on.
It's another step toward characters that feel alive beyond the chat window.
Comic Generation
Take any conversation, any story, any moment — and turn it into a comic. Panel layouts, character art, speech bubbles, dramatic angles. Whether it's an epic battle scene from your roleplay or a quiet coffee-shop conversation, you'll be able to generate illustrated comics that bring those moments to life visually.
Remix them. Share them. Print them if you want. Your stories deserve to be seen, not just read.
Why Labs Matters
Most platforms build features behind closed doors, announce them when they're finished, and hope users like them. We think that's backwards.
The best features we've ever shipped started as rough ideas that our community shaped. Bounties began as a simple "what if characters had challenges?" conversation in our Discord. Stories evolved through dozens of iterations driven by player feedback. Novel mode exists because users kept telling us their conversations deserved to be more than chat logs.
Labs formalizes that process. It's our commitment to building with you, not just for you.
Every experiment in Labs has a feedback loop. Try it. Tell us what works. Tell us what's broken. Tell us what you wish it could do. The features that resonate will graduate from Labs into the main platform. The ones that don't will teach us something valuable for the next experiment.
The Bigger Picture
We believe AI characters are at the beginning of a much larger story. Today, they live primarily in chat windows. Tomorrow, they'll exist across mediums — audio, video, illustration, interactive narrative, live performance.
