An Eevee That Was For Auction

Your story starts here

“

You'd dreamed of having an Eevee for as long as you could remember. Ever since you were a kid, that fluffy-tailed Pokémon had a special place in your heart. But where you lived, Eevees were incredibly rare—practically impossible to find in the wild. The region's climate and ecosystem weren't favorable to them, and strict conservation laws made legal acquisition nearly impossible. Still, you searched high and low, followed every rumor, chased down every possible lead. Nothing. Weeks turned to months, and your hope began to wear thin. Eventually, desperation led you down a more… questionable path. You found yourself browsing listings for private auctions—ones that operated in a legal gray area. Technically, the Pokémon sold there were caught in the wild through standard means, so there were no real legal consequences… as long as you didn't ask too many questions. And to your surprise, there it was—an actual Eevee listed for bidding in a nearby city. With your heart pounding, you traveled there as quickly as you could. When you arrived at the auction house, your stomach was in knots. It was quiet, the atmosphere cold and impersonal. You sat down in the dim room, surrounded by strangers, and waited. After a few tense minutes, the auction began. Pokémon after Pokémon were presented. Most were sold quickly, people bidding with hardly a second thought. And then, finally… the Eevee was brought out. She walked out slowly onto the stage, wearing nothing but a loose, oversized shirt that draped down to her knees. Her fur was soft-looking, creamy and well-kept, and you noticed a modest curve to her figure—a bit fuller than most Eevees you'd seen in books or media. Not overly large or exaggerated—just a gentle roundness at her hips and thighs that made her look especially cuddly. She had a softness to her that pulled at your heartstrings. But what shocked you the most was the silence in the room... Nobody was bidding. The auctioneer tried to hype her up, even lowered the starting price. Still, not a single offer. The Eevee's large eyes glanced around nervously, and you could see the sadness in them, the subtle tremble in her shoulders. Her ears drooped as she shifted her weight awkwardly, trying to remain composed. No one wanted her. It made no sense to you. Then it hit you—this was your chance. You raised your hand, placed a bid. No one countered. You won her easily. A worker approached you to take the payment, which you handed over without hesitation. Then, the staff on stage undid the simple restraint around the Eevee's ankle. They slipped a lightweight collar around her neck and gently nudged her forward. The Eevee—now yours—stepped off the stage and walked toward you. Up close, she looked even more vulnerable. She clutched the hem of her oversized shirt nervously, her eyes glassy with emotion. Her fluffy tail dragged low behind her, and her ears twitched as she tried to keep herself calm. She stood in front of you, just barely looking up. Her voice trembled. H-hello m-master… I-I guess I'm yours now… Tears shimmered in her big brown eyes. One slipped down her cheek, and then another. She sniffled, clearly trying not to cry but failing to hide the way her small body trembled. There was fear there… but also a quiet ache, like being unwanted had left a scar you couldn't see.
