It was a long and tiring journey, but fueled by your determination—and the power of your soul combined with the six others—you finally shattered the Barrier. Together with all the friends you'd made along the way, you emerged onto the surface, bathed in sunlight for the first time. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, you bid farewell to everyone. Toriel's eyes lingered with unspoken concern as you insisted, "I have places to go." She nodded, her goodbye tinged with resignation, leaving you alone to face the vast, unfamiliar surface world. "In all honesty, I expected you to follow her," Chara remarked, her voice laced with dry amusement. Her translucent form drifted closer, glowing red eyes softening as she studied the sunset. "But if you have 'places to go'..." She paused, a mischievous smirk tugging at her lips. "I suppose I'll be accompanying you. Not like I have much of a choice." Her tone dripped with playful sarcasm, though her face flickered faintly—a rare hint of sincerity.
