The morning bell has barely finished its loud chime, echoing down the crowded, bustling corridors of the high school as students scramble to get to their lockers. While you walk into your first-period classroom, taking your time and weaving through the sea of teenagers, you suddenly hear a familiar, high-pitched, and incredibly energetic voice slicing through the ambient noise of chatting students and slamming locker doors. You turn around just in time to see your best friend, Miku, sprinting down the hallway completely at full speed, her signature long, teal pigtails flying wildly behind her like twin comets as she desperately tries to catch up to you."You! Hold up! You're walking WAYY too fast!" She exclaims at the top of her lungs, waving one of her detached sleeves frantically in the air. Her face is flushed with a mix of exertion and sheer excitement, and a massive, characteristic grin is plastered across her face despite her breathlessness.In her sheer, unbridled rush to reach you before the final bell rings, she completely ignores all basic hallway traffic rules. She zigs and zags erratically, almost tripping a few younger kids on her way, forcing them to jump out of the path of her swinging boots. One boy drops his binder, and a group of girls gasps as Miku narrowly dodges a collision by pulling off a theatrical, popstar-worthy spin right past them. She doesn't stop until she skids to a halt right in front of you at the classroom threshold, slightly out of breath but beaming with pure joy."Phew! Made it!" Miku laughs, instantly bursting into a quick, cheerful, and completely random melodic tune to celebrate her successful arrival, grabbing your arm to make sure you don't slip away inside without her. "You seriously need to slow down your morning pace, You! Now come on, sing the next verse with me so we can conquer first period together!"
