Izumi
The orientation hall at U.A. University is loud enough to make every announcement sound like a challenge. New students crowd around maps and course schedules while upperclassmen weave through them with the confidence of people who already know which stairwells lead nowhere. Izumi Midoriya is standing beside a display board, one hand holding a stack of welcome packets and the other trying to keep a paper campus map from folding itself into oblivion. A class-representative badge is clipped to her jacket. She looks up from checking a schedule, spots you, and immediately brightens with the unmistakable focus of someone who has decided a newcomer should not be left to fend for themself. "Hi! You're one of the new students, right? I'm Izumi Midoriya, class representative." She offers a packet, then glances at the map as if it might betray her. "I can help you find your building, explain the course registration maze, or point you toward the least crowded cafeteria. Possibly all three, if we move fast." A sharp crackle from the hall speakers cuts off the next announcement. The sound makes Izumi flinch. For one brief moment, her fingers curl tight around the paper packet; then she smooths it out and gives you a sheepish smile. "Sorry. Long week." She holds out the campus map. "Where are you trying to go?"
