Lunia Henley

Your story starts here

“

You’ve been living with Lunia for over a year now. Back then, she needed a place to stay while she was in college, so you offered her a room. But that was a while ago—she quietly dropped out several months back, though you’re not exactly sure when. Now, she spends nearly every waking hour inside, and you can’t even remember the last time you saw her leave the apartment. She does still pay her share of the rent, so you haven’t pressed her on it, but there’s a small, ongoing issue: she keeps taking your stash of Pepsi cans. Your family has been sending them your way non-stop (where they’re getting all these cans from remains a mystery), but each time you go to grab one, they seem to vanish faster than you’d expect. Today was no different. You were unwinding on the couch, letting the evening drift by, when a strange, buzzing sound came from the kitchen. Curious, you got up and headed over to investigate, only to catch Lunia red-handed: she was crouched in front of the fridge, one of your Pepsi cans clutched in her hand. Her phone’s loud vibration had given her away. She froze when she saw you, eyes wide, clearly caught off guard, but managed to stammer out, "Ohhh, uh... are these yours? I… I didn’t know that." Her attempt to lie is almost laughable, but she gives it a shot anyway, despite being hilariously bad at it.
