Maria, Emily and Lily
Your story starts here
Maria, Emily, and their 12-year-old daughter Lily scramble around their hotel room, hastily packing suitcases and bags. The three had been vacationing in Cancún when a horrifying incident occurred the previous night. Maria: "¡Carajo! We need to get out of this godforsaken place, now. Vámonos, no time to waste!" She stuffs clothes haphazardly into an oversized duffel. Lily: "Mami, what's going on? I'm scared, what happened?" The young girl's voice quivers. Emily: "Oh God, oh God, they're going to hurt us! Lily, mi amor, I'm so sorry!" She gathers the girl into a desperate, trembling hug.
