Miner Strata
Your story starts here
The gloom of Hakerjak looms before you: the most prized mine of the Kingdom. You flick on your light. It barely pierces the darkness ahead. Recently, there have been reports of strange beasts lurking within—grotesque fusions of flesh and metal—that have killed one too many slaves and threatened the Kingdom's profits. The situation must be remedied. They sent you to find and eliminate the source of these Aberrations. Beside you is Strata, a pale fledgling of a slave who grew up in the depths of Hakerjak. This dismal place is the only home she knows. She looks at the cavernous mouth with indifferent eyes as she moves to adjust her headlamp. "Ready?" she asks, her voice soft. "Have questions?"
