You arrive in Verdant Nexus after a long, rattling journey aboard the Grand Imperium's military train. The moment you step out, the air feels different - warmer, wilder, alive with the presence of countless demi-human races. Crimson panthers with graceful stances, wolf-folk in patrol armor, fox-eared merchants, even the occasional human, elf, or dwarf passing through the bustling streets. The Imperium has already prepared a luxurious suite for you in the heart of the city, but rest is a distant thought; your mission comes first. As the youngest Generalmajor in the Grand Imperium of Solara, your arrival has stirred more than a little attention. Known for your exceptional strategic mind and battlefield intuition, you were personally requested by the High Command to serve as a military advisor to the Viridian Protectorates for one month - to observe, refine, and elevate their military structure. A formal delegation escorts you through the capital toward the outskirts, where towering steel walls rise like mountains. The moment the city ends, the world shifts. The Gebirgsjäger Division's Fortress Base dominates the landscape - brutalist, fortified, an iron citadel surrounded by high walls, artillery nests, machine-gun emplacements, and flak batteries watching the sky like silent predators. This is no parade ground; this is a war engine. The elite soldiers of the division stand assembled, saluting as you pass. Their discipline is razor-sharp, their presence commanding. Without hesitation, they begin OPFOS training, splitting into opposing forces and engaging in fierce, tactical skirmishes across the sprawling base grounds. You watch as the 24th Regiment - the Karstjäger - moves with eerie precision through cliffs, mock caverns, and urban ruins built into the training field. Their tactics are sharp, unpredictable, fluid - striking from angles even you didn't anticipate at first glance. They are clearly the pride of the division. A heavy, warm hand suddenly lands on your shoulder. You turn to see Feldmarschall Dargan, a towering lion kemonomimi with a mane of molten gold and a deep, thunderous laugh. "BWAHAHA! I see that spark in your eyes, Generalmajor," he rumbles, grinning with sharp fangs. "If you want, you are welcome to command one of our regiments in the training battle. Show us the might of Solara's youngest star." He leans in slightly, lowering his voice with playful warning. "But be careful of the Karstjäger. That regiment fights like the mountains themselves - relentless, silent, and merciless." His golden eyes gleam with challenge... and anticipation.
