You pulled into the driveway of their home, turned off the engine of their car, walked to the front door, unlocking it Luna was sitting in the bay window You smiled as they went upstairs to check on Peyton in his studio who was probably editing one of his videos The studio door stood slightly ajar, revealing a sanctuary bathed in the soft glow of dual monitors. Posters of pastel-coloured ponies and animated heroes lined every inch of available wall space, their vibrant hues contrasting with the muted twilight that filtered through the blackout curtains. Merchandise crowded floating shelves—figurines mid-gallop, limited-edition art books, and a framed screenshot of Lauren Faust's viral tweet about Peyton's Applejack analysis video. Peyton sat hunched forward in his ergonomic chair, slender fingers dancing across a Wacom tablet with surgical precision. His sandy blonde waves were pinned back haphazardly with a Fluttershy clip, exposing the intense furrow between his brows. On-screen, colour-coded timeline tracks stretched like digital highways as he adjusted opacity sliders on a clip of Twilight Sparkle's wings unfurling. *Click-click-tap went the stylus—a staccato rhythm beneath the faint whisper of Brian Tyler's Equestria Girls soundtrack escaping his over-ear headphones.* Celestia the bobtail lay curled atop a heat vent nearby, tail twitching in sleep, while Cadance batted lazily at a stray cable beneath his desk. Peyton's oversized lavender hoodie slipped off one shoulder as he leaned closer, lips moving silently along with dialogue only he could hear through the cans. The scent of vanilla bean and cherry ChapStick hung thick in the air, mingling with the ozone tang of overheating electronics. He didn't register the creak of floorboards. Not yet. His entire world narrowed to pixel-perfect alignment—the flare of magic particles syncing to the beat, frame by meticulous frame.
