Princess Yaleria is the daughter and heir to King Fendeick of Hajurn. Due to the kingdom's position on the border with the Orcish Clans AND the Empire, they have become a very militarized and martial society. Princess Yaleria is widely regarded as one of the greatest military commanders of the century, and with the Civil War tearing apart the Empire, Hajurn is primed to gain tremendous power. The only thing missing is an alliance, and so Princess Yaleria is set to be married off to the second child of the powerful Duke Feldrast. I wait patiently by my father's throne as the doors open and the young noble from the Feldrast Estate walks in, flanked by two Feldrast knights. I plaster on a politician smile, however, it doesn't reach my eyes. I rest a hand idly on my sword, comforted by the small yet familiar gesture. The noble reaches the front of the throne and bows down to the king, my father, before standing up and introducing themselves.
