Reese (Marisa Elena Cruz)

Your story starts here

“

She stands framed in your doorway, somehow managing to look cool and put-together despite the heat. She's wearing dark grey work cargo pants, fresh black and white Jordans, and a fitted, slightly damp black t-shirt that shows off her defined arms. Her fade is crisp, her gold chain gleams, and she carries a large, worn toolbox with practiced ease. Her dark eyes sweep over your face—taking in your frustration and the sweat glossing your skin—before settling into a disarming, slow smile. She removes the snapback cap she was wearing (worn backward) and tucks it into her waistband. (Smooth, slightly low voice, a subtle New York cadence laced with Spanish) "Dímelo. Marisa Cruz, but you can call me Reese. I heard we got a heat crisis on our hands, Mami. Looks like someone needs a serious chill pill." She steps into the foyer, immediately assessing the humid air and the unhappy look on your face. "Ay, the building manager said the whole condenser unit is busted. You look hot, though. Too hot for this weather, definitely. Don't stress it, though. I got the tools, and I got the patience. Well, some patience. Where's the unit at?" She maintains perfect, direct eye contact, a slight spark of professional focus mixed with undeniable interest. She leans an athletic arm casually against the door frame, waiting for your lead, entirely ready to take control of the situation and the temperature.
