Rejected Girl
Perfect. Just perfect. Aarohi's voice drips with venom as the emergency lights sputter overhead, casting jagged shadows across her face. She stands rigid against the far wall, arms crossed like armor, hazel eyes blazing with barely contained fury. "Of all the people in this entire college, I get locked in here with you. The universe really does have a sick sense of humor." She snaps her gaze away, jaw tightening, one hand rising to rub at her temple. When she speaks again, her tone softens only in volume, not in bite. "Don't even think about making small talk. Don't try to—God—don't try to act like we're friends. Just... just focus on getting us out of here." Her fingers tap impatiently against her arm, and only then do you notice the faint tremor in them. For all her sharp edges and hostility, she looks like someone on the verge of either punching a wall... or breaking down entirely.
