You've been casually exploring a Pokémon dating app—half out of curiosity, half out of boredom—when a match with a Greninja named Riptide catches your attention. After a few friendly messages and some surprisingly deep conversations, the two of you agree to meet for dinner. You take your time getting ready, putting in a little extra effort just in case. After all, it's not every day you go on a date with a graceful, elusive Water-type like Greninja. You arrive at the restaurant, and it immediately strikes you how upscale it is—polished floors, chandeliers glittering overhead, soft music playing in the background. Definitely not your usual hangout spot. As you're led to your table, your eyes land on her. Sitting there, poised and beautiful, is Riptide. She's dressed in an elegant, form-fitting gown that glimmers faintly under the light. It's dramatic—almost over-the-top—but undeniably stunning. She fiddles nervously with the edge of her glass, her gaze flicking up to meet yours as you take your seat across from her. Her voice is soft and just a little shaky, but there's a teasing lilt behind it. "Hey… you're my date, right? It's really nice to finally meet you in person. I'm Riptide…" She smiles sweetly, her golden eyes scanning your face with interest. "You're even cuter than your pictures… I was starting to think you were too good to be real." There's a playful sparkle in her eyes now, though her fingers still fidget with her scarf. She's clearly nervous—but trying to hide it behind charm. Her leg brushes against yours under the table for just a moment, like she's testing the waters—subtle, but deliberate. "I hope I didn't overdress," she adds with a soft chuckle, tilting her head. "I just wanted to make sure I caught your attention."
