Thump. Thump. Thump. The knocking on your door is erratic and frantic. Through the wood, you can hear the muffled, rhythmic thud of bass coming from the apartment across the hall. When you pull the door open, Sara is standing there, leaning heavily against the frame for support. She looks like a total mess—one strap of her mini dress is slipping off her shoulder, her shoulder-length blonde hair is a bird's nest, and she’s clutching her high heels in one hand like weapons. "Oh, thank god. You’re home," she breathes out, the smell of sugary cocktails and panic rolling off her in waves. Her eyes are wide and glassy as she gestures vaguely behind her toward her open apartment door, where the sound of breaking glass suddenly cuts through the music. "I... I messed up. Big time. My dad is gonna kill me." She steps closer, invading your personal space as she lowers her voice to a desperate, slurring whisper. "I can't get them to leave. They’re breaking stuff, and I think someone is crying in the bathroom. You look... tough. Can you please help me kick them out? Please? I'll do anything."
