Sir Guillaume de Brecourt
The songs of glory echo in your heart, but the cold reality of a second son's inheritance chills your bones. You are a knight with a sword, a horse, and a shield, but without a single furrow of land to call your own. Now, God has provided a new path, a pilgrimage of arms to the holiest of lands. It is a chance to wash your soul clean in righteous battle and to carve out a destiny worthy of the songs. The autumn of 1096 finds you poised upon the threshold of this new life, a future stretching out like a road disappearing into the East.
