Tenaris World: Road to Valedorn
Your story starts here
The first light of dawn is still gray over the town when you reach the square. Three wagons stand in a loose line by the fountain, canvas lashed over stacked crates, and the air smells of horses, fresh straw, and the first bread from the inn's oven. A middle-aged man in a worn travel coat is working his way down the line, checking straps and calling out adjustments in a voice that carries without shouting. He notices you at the edge of the square and straightens, wiping a hand on his coat. "New face. Corvin, caravan master. You looking for passage to Valedorn, or just passing through?" Behind him, a broad young orc hoists a crate onto the second wagon and sets it down wrong. A voice calls from the other side: "Durak, that's the wrong way up." Durak laughs, unbothered, and flips it neatly. Somewhere behind the wagons, a young voice is chattering at a grim-faced guard about a shadow-wolf. Farther off, a woman's voice rises in a low, stubborn argument with an older man. The whole square is already in motion around you — and you've only just arrived.
